Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Assistant Professors / Teaching Assistants / Assistant Librarian on Academic Arrangement in Government College of Engineering & Technology, Ganderbal Kashmir, purely on need basis for the academic session 2026-27 in the following Streams/Disciplines:

कार्यालय प्राचार्य, राजकीय अभियांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्योगिकी महाविद्यालय (जीसीईटी) गांदरबल, कश्मीर-193504। विज्ञापन सूचना। शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 के लिए विशुद्ध रूप से

आवश्यकता के आधार पर राजकीय अभियांत्रिकी एवं प्रौद्योगिकी महाविद्यालय, गांदरबल कश्मीर में शैक्षणिक व्यवस्था पर सहायक प्रोफेसर / शिक्षण सहायक / सहायक पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष के रूप में नियुक्ति हेतु पात्र उम्मीदवारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

Eligibility conditions for various categories:

a. Assistant Professor (Engineering and Technology): The candidates must possess B.E/B.Tech & Master’s Degree in relevant branch with first class or equivalent either in B.E/B.Tech or Master’s Degree. Desirable: Ph.D in the concerned subject.

b. Assistant Professor (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities-Management): The candidates must possess Master’s in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% Excluding any grace marks in case of SC / ST / Differently Abled) with NET / SLET / SET or Ph.D in the relevant subject.

c. Assistant Librarian: The candidates must possess Master’s in Library and Information Science with at least 55% marks (50% Excluding any grace marks in case of Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe / Differently-Abled) with NET / SLET or Ph.D in the relevant subject.

d. Teaching Assistant (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Humanities-Management): The candidates must possess Master’s in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% Excluding any grace marks in case of SC / ST / Differently Abled).

Note: In case of relevant qualified Ph.D / NET / SET / SLET candidates are not available Teaching Assistants may be engaged purely on need basis.

उम्मीदवारों के पास संबंधित विषय में कम से कम 55% अंकों के साथ मास्टर डिग्री (एससी / एसटी / दिव्यांग मामलों में 50%) और संबंधित विषय में नेट / स्लेट / सेट या पीएचडी होना अनिवार्य है। सी. सहायक पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष: उम्मीदवारों के पास पुस्तकालय एवं सूचना विज्ञान में कम से कम 55% अंकों (एससी / एसटी / दिव्यांग के लिए 50%) के साथ मास्टर डिग्री और नेट / स्लेट या पीएचडी होनी चाहिए। डी. शिक्षण सहायक: संबंधित विषय में कम से कम 55% अंकों के साथ मास्टर डिग्री होनी चाहिए।

Selection Criteria for Engineering Streams:

Graduation (B.E./B.Tech): 25 Points (on prorata basis)

Post-Graduation (M.E./M.Tech) in Engineering: 30 Points (on prorata basis)

Ph.D.: 15 Points

Teaching / Industry Experience: 10 Points (02 points for each Academic Session of not less than 6 months, subject to maximum of 10 points)

Interview: 20 Points

Total: 100 Points

इंजीनियरिंग संकायों के लिए चयन मापदंड: स्नातक: 25 अंक, स्नातकोत्तर: 30 अंक, पीएचडी: 15 अंक, शिक्षण/उद्योग अनुभव: 10 अंक, साक्षात्कार: 20 अंक, कुल: 100 अंक।

Selection Criteria for Non-Engineering Streams:

Graduation: 20 Points (on prorata basis)

Post-Graduation: 25 Points (on prorata basis)

M.Phil.: O Grade=07, A Grade=05, B Grade=04, C Grade=03

Ph.D.: 25 Points

NET with JRF / NET / SLET / SET: 10 / 08 / 05 Points

Experience (Teaching/Post-Doctoral): 20 Points (2 Marks per year up to maximum of 20)

Note: The maximum possible marks that can be awarded are limited as under: M.Phil + PhD: Maximum 25 Marks; JRF/NET/SET: Maximum 10 Marks.
