are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement as Assistant Professor (Lecturer), Specialist (Teaching Assistant), Computer Instructor (Teaching Assistant) and Lady Warden purely on Need Based Academic Arrangement in Government College of Physical Education Gadoora Ganderbal Kashmir for academic session 2026-27.
सरकारी शारीरिक शिक्षा कॉलेज गाडूरा गांदरबल, जम्मू और कश्मीर: शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 के लिए आवश्यकता आधारित शैक्षणिक व्यवस्था के तहत सहायक प्रोफेसर (व्याख्याता), विशेषज्ञ (शिक्षण सहायक), कंप्यूटर अनुदेशक (शिक्षण सहायक) और लेडी वार्डन के पदों पर सगाई हेतु आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।
DETAILS OF POSTS & ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Assistant Professor (Lecturer)
• No. of Posts: 04
• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks (50% excluding any grace marks, in case of SC/ST) with NET/SET/SLET or Ph. D.
• Note: In case of relevant qualification Ph. D/M. Phil/NET/SET/SLET candidates are not available, teaching assistant/s may be engaged on purely on need basis.
2. Specialist (Teaching Assistant)
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification: Master’s degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks (50% excluding any grace marks in case of SC/ST).
3. Computer Instructor (Teaching Assistant)
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification: Master’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Applications with at least 55% marks (50% excluding any grace marks in case of SC/ST).
4. Lady Warden
• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification: Master’s degree in Physical Education with at least 55% marks (50% excluding any grace marks in case of SC/ST). Preference shall be given to a candidate having Hotel Management Certificate Course.
पदों का विवरण और आवश्यक योग्यता: सहायक प्रोफेसर (04 पद) – शारीरिक शिक्षा में मास्टर डिग्री 55% अंकों के साथ और NET/SET/SLET/Ph.D; विशेषज्ञ शिक्षण सहायक (01 पद) – शारीरिक शिक्षा में मास्टर डिग्री; कंप्यूटर अनुदेशक (01 पद) – आईटी/कंप्यूटर एप्लीकेशन में मास्टर डिग्री; लेडी वार्डन (01 पद) – शारीरिक शिक्षा में मास्टर डिग्री, होटल प्रबंधन पाठ्यक्रम प्रमाण पत्र वाले उम्मीदवारों को वरीयता।
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
i. The criteria for preparing of merit list and engagement of the candidates for the academic session 2026 shall be as per guidelines notified vide Order No. 46-JK/(HED) of 2022, Dt:- 22-8-02-2022.
ii. The engagement shall be purely temporary till the end of Academic Session 2026 (excluding terminal holidays) or till the post is filled on regular appointment by competent authority or by transfer or till the workload justifies whichever is earlier.
iii. The candidate will have to sign an agreement attested by 1st Class Judicial Magistrate on the prescribed format with the Principal of the college joining.
iv. In the event of any information given by the candidate is found false, incomplete, incorrect, forged, tampered, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled without serving any notice thereof. Further, misleading information shall also warrant necessary legal action.
v. The primary criteria for calculating the grades shall be from the marks obtained in the examination. However if the grades have been awarded in CGPA only in any degree/ examinations the conversion factor as mentioned in the CGPA score card shall only be accepted.
If the marks conversion factor is not mentioned in the score card the conversion certificate (from CGPA to percentage) issued by the controller of the examinations of the concerned university, for the purpose of calculation of the merit shall be accepted.
vi. The academic arrangement shall be purely need based and temporary and shall in no case confer in right for regular engagement or even continuation in any subsequent session. The academic arrangement shall cease with the closing of Academic Session.
vii. The teaching experience issued by the UGC approved Universities colleges in India shall only be accepted.
viii. Candidature of the applicants in whose case overlap period between study and teaching experience is found shall be rejected without any notice.
ix. The candidates shall strictly submit only three best and relevant publications (UGC recognized) with the application form No. additional publications shall be entertained under any circumstances. Change in any form of the publication shall not be accepted after the submission of the form.
The candidates shall submit the extension link of UGC care list mentioning the journal. In case the journal falls in UGC approved journals at any time an authenticated document for the same shall be submitted by the candidate. No claim without the authenticated document shall be entertained.
x. The term awards mentioned shall be restricted to Central Government/State Government only. The societies registered with State Government or Central Government shall not be treated as per with the Government of State/Country.
xi. The academic arrangement candidates shall be allowed maternity leave (in case of female candidates) without remuneration on the basis of certificate issued by the concerned maternity hospital. The maximum limit for such leave shall be 30 days.
xii. Academic arrangement candidate replaced by permanent faculty either by transfer or new appointment shall by disengaging the candidates with lowest merit in the subject concerned.
xiii. The remuneration shall be paid on the pattern of Higher Education Department vide order No: 219-HE of 2018 Dt:- 28-03-2018.
नियम एवं शर्तें: यह व्यवस्था पूरी तरह से अस्थायी और आवश्यकता आधारित है। अभ्यर्थियों को प्रथम श्रेणी न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट द्वारा सत्यापित एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर करने होंगे। केवल यूजीसी द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त शिक्षण अनुभव और प्रकाशन ही स्वीकार किए जाएंगे। मानदेय उच्च शिक्षा विभाग के आदेशानुसार दिया जाएगा।
CRITERIA FOR DETERMINATION OF MERIT (Assistant Professor, Specialist & Warden):
1. Graduation: 20 Points (On Pro rata Basis)
2. Post-Graduation: 25 Points (On Pro rata Basis)
3. M. Phil.: O Grade = 07 | A Grade = 05 | B Grade = 04 | C Grade = 03
4. Ph. D: 25 Points
5. NET with JRF: 10 Points | NET: 08 Points | SLET/SET: 05 Points
6. Experience (Teaching/Post-Doctoral): 2 Marks per year up to the maximum of 20. (If period is less than one year then marks shall be reduced proportionally).
Note on Maximum Possible Marks:
i) M. Phil. + Ph. D: Maximum 25 Marks
ii) JRF/NET/SET: Maximum 10 Marks

The candidate shall submit the hard copy of application form along with all relevant documents in the office of the Principal Government College of Physical Education Gadoora Ganderbal by or before 29th of August 2026.
Documents to be attached: Two Passport Size Photographs, Domicile/PRC, Marks certificate/s, DOB, Experience Certificate, Affidavit.
