Engagement of Guest Faculty – Govt. ITI Jammu 2026-27

Government of Jammu & Kashmir, Office of the Principal, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Jammu, has released an official advertisement for the temporary engagement of Guest Faculty for the Academic Session 2026-27. The engagement is purely on a need basis and shall be coterminous with the academic session. Candidates meeting the prescribed qualifications and experience criteria may apply for various trades including Turner (Normal), Front Office Assistant (Normal), and Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (English) (Self Finance).

जम्मू एवं कश्मीर सरकार, प्रधानाचार्य कार्यालय, औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (आईटीआई), जम्मू ने शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 के लिए अतिथि संकाय की अस्थायी नियुक्ति के लिए एक विज्ञापन जारी किया है। यह नियुक्ति पूरी तरह से आवश्यकता के आधार पर होगी और शैक्षणिक सत्र के साथ समाप्त होगी। पात्र उम्मीदवार टर्नर (सामान्य), फ्रंट ऑफिस असिस्टेंट (सामान्य), और स्टेनोग्राफर सीक्रेटरी असिस्टेंट (अंग्रेजी) (सेल्फ फाइनेंस) जैसे ट्रेडों के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) to the Office of the Principal, Govt. ITI Jammu, located at Akhnoor Road, Pillar No.10, Shakti Nagar, Jammu. The last date for submission of applications is within 07 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the newspaper / on the official website. The following trades are open for Guest Faculty engagement. Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications as prescribed by DGT norms for each trade.

अतिथि संकाय नियुक्ति के लिए निम्नलिखित ट्रेड खुले हैं। उम्मीदवारों के पास प्रत्येक ट्रेड के लिए डीजीटी मानदंडों के अनुसार न्यूनतम योग्यता होनी चाहिए।

ट्रेड और योग्यता: टर्नर (सामान्य) – मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग में डिग्री/डिप्लोमा या टर्नर ट्रेड में एनटीसी/एनएसी/एसटीसी उत्तीर्ण। फ्रंट ऑफिस असिस्टेंट (सामान्य) – कॉमर्स/होटल प्रबंधन/केटरिंग में डिग्री/डिप्लोमा या फ्रंट ऑफिस असिस्टेंट ट्रेड में एनटीसी/एनएसी/एसटीसी उत्तीर्ण। स्टेनोग्राफर सीक्रेटरी असिस्टेंट (अंग्रेजी) (सेल्फ फाइनेंस) – कॉमर्स/आर्ट्स में डिग्री/डिप्लोमा (शॉर्टहैंड और टाइपिंग के साथ) या संबंधित ट्रेड में एनटीसी/एनएसी/एसटीसी उत्तीर्ण।

The duly completed Application Form in the prescribed format must be accompanied with self-attested copies of the following certificates/documents:

🧑‍🎓 Age Criteria

Minimum age: 18 years  |  Maximum age: 45 years as on 2026 (1st January of each calendar year).

⚖️ Terms & Conditions of Engagement

The engagement of Guest Faculty will be for the Academic Session 2026-27 only on a need basis. The assignment of the engagee shall be coterminous with the academic session. It can also be terminated on account of non-performance by the engagee as per the guidelines or when regular appointments/transfers are made by the Department.

अतिथि संकाय की नियुक्ति शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 के लिए केवल आवश्यकता के आधार पर होगी। नियुक्त व्यक्ति का कार्यकाल शैक्षणिक सत्र के साथ समाप्त होगा। इसे दिशानिर्देशों के अनुसार खराब प्रदर्शन के कारण या विभाग द्वारा नियमित नियुक्तियों/स्थानांतरणों के होने पर भी समाप्त किया जा सकता है।

The undersigned reserves the right to reject incomplete/deficient applications received after assigning proper reasons. The criteria for engagement and remuneration shall be strictly as per guidelines/directions/instructions issued from time to time.

प्राधिकारी उचित कारण बताते हुए अपूर्ण/अपर्याप्त आवेदनों को अस्वीकार करने का अधिकार रखते हैं। नियुक्ति और पारिश्रमिक के मानदंड समय-समय पर जारी दिशानिर्देशों/निर्देशों के अनुसार सख्ती से होंगे।

The candidates engaged shall have to maintain proper discipline and punctuality and shall have to work to the entire satisfaction of the students as well as the Institute. Indiscipline, misconduct, moral turpitude or false documentation of any kind will entail disengagement.

नियुक्त उम्मीदवारों को उचित अनुशासन और समयनिष्ठा बनाए रखनी होगी और छात्रों तथा संस्थान दोनों की पूर्ण संतुष्टि के लिए कार्य करना होगा। अव्यवस्था, कदाचार, अनैतिक आचरण या किसी भी प्रकार के झूठे दस्तावेजीकरण पर नियुक्ति समाप्त कर दी जाएगी।

Every selected candidate shall, before joining, execute an undertaking/affidavit, duly attested by a First-Class Judicial Magistrate, in the prescribed format, expressly stating therein that:

• the candidate is fully aware about the nature of engagement being purely temporary in nature, session-specific and terminable in accordance with this Policy;
• the candidate shall not, at any time, claim regularisation, permanent absorption, continuation on whatsoever grounds; and
• the candidate shall abide by the Code of Conduct as specified in extant Policy.

• उम्मीदवार इस बात से पूरी तरह अवगत है कि नियुक्ति पूर्णतः अस्थायी, सत्र-विशिष्ट और नीति के अनुसार समाप्त करने योग्य है;

Mere submission of application or eligibility shall not entitle any candidate for his/her engagement, and the engagement shall be made only as per the Jammu and Kashmir Guest Faculty in ITIs Engagement Policy.

केवल आवेदन या पात्रता किसी भी उम्मीदवार को नियुक्ति का अधिकार नहीं देती है, और नियुक्ति केवल जम्मू और कश्मीर आईटीआई में अतिथि संकाय नियुक्ति नीति के अनुसार की जाएगी।
