These appointments are initially for a period of 01 year, extendable up to a maximum of 03 years, on the basis of satisfactory work conduct and performance as reported by the concerned Head of the Department.

Required Documents & Testimonials:
- Date of Birth Certificate.
- MBBS Degree or Equivalent recognized qualification degree.
- Marks Cards of all Professional Examinations.
- State / MCI / NMC Registration Certificates.
- Post-Graduate Degree Certificate.
- Additional Qualification Registration Certificate issued by JKMC.
- Higher Qualification Certificate (D.M / M.Ch.) as admissible.
- Affidavit duly attested by a First Class Judicial Magistrate (format matching institutional requirements).
- In-Service / PSC candidates must also submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for undergoing senior residency/tenure posting from their parent department.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay an amount of ₹500/- as a Form Fee through online mode by or before the cutoff date.
Mode of Selection: Selection of candidates shall be made on the basis of performance in an MCQ-based written test, strictly as per criteria specified under Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20-06-2024. Examination dates and venues will be notified separately on the official institutional portal.
Important Key Terms: Fresh candidates who have not previously done Senior Residency for a period of 3 years or more are eligible. First month’s salary shall be kept as a security deposit by the institution and will be released only upon successful completion of the tenure. Selected candidatures are subject to mandatory CID verification processes.
