GMC Handwara Recruitment 2026 – Academic Arrangement Posts

Government Medical College Handwara has released an official advertisement inviting applications for Senior Residents, Tutors, and Demonstrators on an Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O. 364 of 2020.

The engagement is initially for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and governing rules. Eligible candidates, including in-service (PSC) candidates with valid NOC, may apply as per the criteria laid down in Govt. Order No. 383 JK(HME) of 2024.

Date of Birth Certificate and Domicile Certificate
Affidavit from 1st Class Magistrate stating candidate is not on the rolls of any other medical college in India
NOC / Service Certificate for in-service candidates

Terms and Conditions

Private Practice: Not permitted during the tenure
Security Deposit: First salary retained as security and released after successful completion of one year
Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as on the cut-off date
Experience Certificate: Not issued if the candidate leaves before completing one year
