Applications are invited as per Proforma from domicile eligible candidates of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir only for engagement on Academic Arrangement Basis under SRO 24 (Now SO 364 dated 27.11.2020) against the following vacant posts in Govt. Medical College

, Jammu & its Associated Hospitals for a period of one year extendable upto maximum of six years (One year at a time and further extension subject to good performance and conduct) or till the posts are filled on substantive basis in accordance with Rules of Recruitment governing the posts, whichever is earlier.

जम्मू और कश्मीर केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के निवासी पात्र उम्मीदवारों से शैक्षणिक व्यवस्था आधार (SRO 24 / SO 364) के तहत 1 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए (जो अधिकतम 6 वर्षों तक बढ़ाई जा सकती है) जीएमसी जम्मू और इसके संबद्ध अस्पतालों में निम्नलिखित रिक्त पदों के लिए आवेदन पत्र आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

Documents to be attached along with application form: / आवेदन पत्र के साथ संलग्न किए जाने वाले दस्तावेज:

a. Date of Birth Certificate.
b. Qualification certificate (Academic & Technical) with Mark sheets of all years/semesters.
c. Category Certificate, if any.
d. Registration Certificate from J&K Para Medical Council.
e. Domicile Certificate.
f. Experience Certificate, if any.
दस्तावेज: जन्म तिथि प्रमाण पत्र, योग्यता प्रमाण पत्र और अंक तालिकाएं, श्रेणी प्रमाण पत्र (यदि लागू हो), जेएंडके पैरा मेडिकल काउंसिल से पंजीकरण प्रमाण पत्र, अधिवास प्रमाण पत्र, अनुभव प्रमाण पत्र।

Terms and conditions: / नियम और शर्तें:

a) Maximum age at the time of submission application form is 63 years.
b) These appointments shall not entitle the appointee to any preferential claim for regularization/ regular appointment under normal process of selection/appointment.
c) The services of an appointee under these rules shall be terminable before the expiry of the tenure of appointment with one month’s notice from either side.
d) The number of posts can increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Institution without any further notice.
e) The selection Committee reserves the right not to fill up any post in case Administrative exigency so demands.

f) The provisions of the J&K Reservation Act and Rules made there-under shall govern the selections.
g) Conditions of Service in the matter of discipline and conduct of appointee shall be governed by the Rules, regulations and orders in-vogue under the J&K Civil Services Rules.
h) No weight-age shall be given to higher qualification other than the required.
i) The application should be on A4 size paper and all the entries in the application form should be in computer typed form (self attested), not hand written.

j) Application form found incomplete in any manner during the scrutiny of applications shall be rejected without any prior notice to the applicant.
k) Application form without Registration Certificate from J&K Para Medical Council shall be rejected out rightly.
l) Applicant found having made any incorrect or false statement, suppressing material information shall render himself/ herself liable for criminal proceedings.
m) No application shall be entertained after last date of submission of application form i.e. 31.08.2026, even by post.

n) Remuneration: In case of retired Government official, last pay drawn minus pension and commuted portion of pension, subject to minimum total emoluments (Including pension and commuted portion) being equal to the Revised basic pay corresponding to minimum of the pre-revised scale of the post as per SRO-93 dated: 15-04-2009 + Dearness Allowance.
o) The Contractual appointments shall be done as per the instructions laid down in G.O. No. 528-JK (GAD) of 2021 dated 21.06.2021.

Application Procedure: Application as per prescribed format (typed) should be deposited through registered/speed post / personally by applicant by or before 31.08.2026. The applications complete in all respect shall have to be deposited/submitted in the office of the Personnel Officer, Associated Hospitals of Government Medical College, Jammu.
