Important Notification

Applications are invited from PSC and Non-PSC doctors (Domicile of UT of J&K) for the tenure posts of Demonstrator and Senior Resident in various disciplines of Government Medical College (GMC) Kathua.

Application form is enclosed as Annexure-A to this Advertisement Notice.

Note:
Candidates applying for multiple specialities must submit separate forms. Forms must be submitted offline only, by post or by hand. Delay in post is the responsibility of the candidate.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

a) For PSC (In-Service) Candidates

The In-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.
They may participate in the selection process only with prior permission/NOC from the Administrative Department as per latest guidelines.
Selected candidates will be allowed to join only after being relieved from their Administrative Department.

b) For Non-PSC Candidates (Not in Govt. Service)

Non-PSC doctors will receive consolidated pay equal to the revised basic pay corresponding to the minimum of the pre-revised scale of Medical Officer as per SRO-193 dated 24-04-2018, along with DA.
They shall also be entitled to house rent allowance as applicable.
No additional monetary benefits apply.

Maximum Age & Selection Process

Maximum age: 45 years as on the cut-off date.
Selection as per guidelines issued by the Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education.
Tie-breaking rules based on higher marks in Basic Qualification, Higher Qualification, or age (descending order).

General Instructions

Applicants must ensure:

Documents are legible, properly arranged, and not washed-out or misprinted.
Only self-attested copies are accepted.
Submission of application form does not guarantee eligibility.
If documents are found incorrect at any stage, candidature will be cancelled and action may follow.

In case of dispute:
Decision of the Chairperson of the Selection Committee shall be final.
