In tems of S.O 364 of 2020 dated: 27.11.2020 applications on plain papers are invited from the eligible non-PSC
retired persons of the UT of J&K for engagement as Assistant Professor on acade mic arrangement basis, initially for
a period of one year, extendable up to a period of six years (one year at a time and subject to good perfomance
and conduct) or till the selection/promotion is made in accordance with recruitment rules governing the respective
posts, whichever is earlier

The candidates shall submit the copies of the following documents with their applikcation foms:
MBBS Degree and MCI/NMC Registration, M.D in the concemed discipline from an ins titution duly
recognized by the Medical Council of Ind ia/Nation al Medical Commission.
DM (Immuno lo gy) or M.D Immuno-Hematology and Blood Transfu sion or M.D Pathology or M.D
Hematology with two years teaching experience or spec ial training in the department of Immuno-
Hematology and blood Transfus ion for Blood Bank Lecturer.
MD (PMRV/MD (Medicine) with Diploma in PMR/MS (General Surgery)/MS (Orthopedics) with two years
special train ing in the spec ia ty of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Rehabilitation Medicine) or
two years of equivalent trai ning from an institution, recognized by MCI/NMC.
Experience certificate iss ued by the Competent Authority/ Head of Institution.
Profess ion al Publications (full text), published in indexed/ national journals, as prescribed.
Date of birth Certificate.
Domicile Certificate.
Application foms complete in all respects, shou ld be accompanied with a nonrefund able bank draft
for Rs. 300/ (Rupees three hundred only) pledged to Principal, Govt. Medical College, Anan tn ag and
submitted in the office of Administrative Officer Main Campus, GMC Anantnag.

The appoin tment against the advertised posts shall and shall always be on academic arrangement basis only
without confement of any preferential right on the engagees for regular appointment against these po sts, which
shall be made strictly in accordance with the relevant recru itment rules.
The appointment on academic arrangement basis shall by itself stand terminated on atta in ment of 70 years ofthe
age by the appointee. The service of an appointee under the relevant rules shall be termina ble before the expiry of
the tenure of appointment with one months notice from either side or on payment of one month salary in lieu of
notice by appointing authority.
In case of any dispute, the decision of Chairperson of the selection committee shall be
final
