Government Medical College Anantnag invites online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement as Senior Residents/Demonstrators in the following disciplines:

Available Disciplines & Eligibility

S. No.	Discipline	Eligibility Criteria
1	Pharmacology	a) MBBS with MD/DNB in the concerned discipline from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and registered with J&K State Medical Council, OR b) MSc with PhD in the medical subject of the concerned discipline from a recognized institution
2	Radiodiagnosis	MBBS with MD/DNB in the concerned discipline from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and registered with J&K State Medical Council

Engagement Details

• Initial engagement for 01 year
• Extendable up to a maximum of 03 years
• Year-wise extension subject to satisfactory performance, certified by the concerned HOD

Selection Criteria

• Selection shall be made only on the basis of an MCQ-based written test
• As per Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024

Salary / Stipend

• Non-In-service Candidates:
Paid stipend as per S.O. 364 of 2020

• In-service Candidates:
Paid salary as per Last Pay Certificate (LPC) after submission of NOC from parent department

Age Limit (as on 27-01-2026)

• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Up to 50 years for the disciplines of:
Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine & Community Medicine

• Internship Certificate
• MD/MS/DNB/MSc Certificates
• Medical Registration Certificate
• All Mark Sheets
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Domicile Certificate (J&K)
• NOC (for in-service candidates)

• Blurred/illegible photograph or signature will lead to rejection
• Details must strictly match Matriculation Certificate
