Online applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and possessing the prescribed Academic/Professional qualification i.e., MBBS and Internship from any recognized Medical College for engagement of the tenure post of Junior Residents in the various disciplines of Government Medical College Anantnag on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O 364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020.

1. How to Apply:

The prescribed application form shall be available on the official website www.gmcanantnag.ac.in.
Candidates interested in applying for the said posts at Government Medical College Anantnag can apply online from 18-12-2025 on www.gmcanantnag.ac.in.
The last date for submission of application forms shall be 22-12-2025 (Note: The image shows 18-12-2025 as the online application start date, and a handwritten date 22-12-2025 as the last date for online submission).
The hard copy of the application forms duly signed by the candidate complete in all aspects and accompanied with a non-refundable bank draft for Rs. 500/- pledged to Principal Govt. Medical College Anantnag and payable at JK Bank Dialgam, shall be submitted in the office of Administrative Officer Govt. Medical College Anantnag by or before 2-01-2026.
No application form shall be entertained after the due date.

2. Documents to be uploaded (Self-Attested Copies):

Applications must be submitted along with the following self-attested documents, failing which the application shall be rejected:

Date of Birth Certificate
Marks Certificates of 1st, 2nd, Pre-Final, and Final MBBS examinations issued by the concerned University
Attempt Certificate issued by the University
MBBS Internship Completion Certificate
MBBS Degree Certificate from a recognized University/Institution
J&K Medical Council Registration Certificate
Domicile Certificate
Screening Certificate (For Foreign Medical Graduates only)

3. Tenure of the Post:

The engagement shall be initially for six (06) months, extendable up to one (01) year, subject to satisfactory work and conduct to be certified by the concerned Head of Department.

4. Other Terms & Conditions (Highlights):

Stipend: The selected candidates shall be paid monthly stipend as admissible under Government Rules.
Maximum Age: The upper age limit for applying is 50 years.

5. Submission of false information and disciplinary action thereof:

If any declaration made by the candidate is found to be false, or if any material information is willfully suppressed, the engagement shall be cancelled ab initio, and action as warranted under rules shall be initiated.

Note:

In case of a tie in the marks obtained in the written test, the candidate with earlier D.O.B shall be given preference.
