Government Medical College GMC Doda Recruitment 2026

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Office of the Principal Government Medical College (GMC) Doda, has released a fresh advertisement notice for the engagement of candidates for tenure-based academic posts.

Applications are invited from both PSC (In-service) and Non-PSC (Non-in-service) doctors for the roles of Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, and Registrar. These positions are initially for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years under SO-364 of 2020.

Eligibility and Qualifications

General Qualification: Candidates must possess a Post Graduate qualification such as MD, MS, or DNB in the concerned subject. For super-specialty departments, higher qualifications like MCH, DM, or DNB (Super Specialty) are mandatory.

For PSC Candidates: Selected candidates will be paid as per their Last Pay Certificate (LPC). It is mandatory to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent department for the residency tenure.

For Non-PSC Candidates: Selected candidates shall be engaged on a consolidated pay equal to the basic pay of Medical Officer/Assistant Surgeon of the Health Department as per SRO-93 dated 15-04-2009.

Required Documents (Self-Attested)

MBBS and MD/MS/DNB Degree in concerned subject.
Registration Certificates from State Medical Council/MCI.
Internship completion certificate and all MBBS marks sheets.
Domicile Certificate and Date of Birth certificate (Matriculation).
Experience certificates, Paper presentations, and Merit awards (if any).
Service Certificate for in-service candidates issued by DHS Jammu/Srinagar.

The completed form along with a bank receipt of Rs 500/- (Account No: 0449010570000055, J&K Bank Doda, IFSC: JAKA0EXDODA) must be submitted within 20 days of the notice date (issued 30.01.2026).
