Subject: Advertisement for appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis against the post of Technical Assistant/Technician in Govt. Medical College Kathua as per S.O 364 dated 27.11.2020.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates (Domicile of UT of J&K) for engagement against the post mentioned below on Academic Arrangement Basis in terms of S.O 364 of 2020, dated 27.11.2020 for a period of one year or till selection/promotion is made in accordance with the recruitment rules, governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier.

Annexure “B” – Terms and Conditions (“FORM A”)

This agreement is between the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir through the appointing authority, and the appointee on academic arrangement basis. It details conditions such as appointment duration, age limits, termination, entitlement to casual leave, salary, and authorities’ rights regarding termination or disciplinary action.

Appointment is on academic arrangement basis for one year (extendable as per rules). Appointment ceases if the post is filled through regular recruitment or as per set rules.
Appointment is for specific academic/technical roles, terminable by either party with one month’s notice or salary in lieu thereof. Not a regular appointment.
The appointee shall be under the orders of the Government and follow assignments as designated.
Government will pay a consolidated salary as per J&K Medical and Dental Education (Academic Arrangement Basis) Rules, 2020 as long as the appointee is in active service.
15 days of casual leave per year. Additional leave by authority decision only.
Any willful neglect or refusal to perform duties leads to immediate termination without salary for such period.
