Government Polytechnic College, Reasi, under the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has issued Notification No. 02 of 2026 dated 02 September 2026, inviting applications for engagement of Guest Faculty on a need basis for the academic session November‑December 2026.

सरकारी पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज, रियासी, जम्मू एवं कश्मीर सरकार के अधीन, ने सूचना संख्या 02/2026 दिनांक 02 सितंबर 2026 जारी की है, जिसमें शैक्षणिक सत्र नवंबर‑दिसंबर 2026 के लिए अतिथि संकाय की आवश्यकता आधारित नियुक्ति के लिए आवेदन आमंत्रित किए गए हैं।

The engagement is purely on a guest faculty basis for one academic session only. The college is looking for qualified candidates in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Chemistry disciplines. Selection will be made purely on merit.

यह नियुक्ति पूर्णतः अतिथि संकाय आधार पर केवल एक शैक्षणिक सत्र के लिए है। कॉलेज मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग, भौतिकी और रसायन विज्ञान विषयों में योग्य उम्मीदवारों की तलाश कर रहा है। चयन पूर्णतः मेरिट पर आधारित होगा।

Vacancies: Guest Faculty – Mechanical Engineering (01 post), Physics (01 post), Chemistry (01 post). (Numbers may vary as per requirement.)

रिक्तियाँ: अतिथि संकाय – मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग (01 पद), भौतिकी (01 पद), रसायन विज्ञान (01 पद)। (संख्या आवश्यकता के अनुसार भिन्न हो सकती है।)

Eligibility Criteria: For Mechanical Engineering – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 55% marks in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology/discipline or equivalent from a recognized university. For Physics and Chemistry – Post‑graduation/Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Institute. GATE/NET/SET qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

पात्रता मानदंड: मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग के लिए – मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से इंजीनियरिंग/प्रौद्योगिकी/विषय की उपयुक्त शाखा में 55% अंकों के साथ स्नातक डिग्री या समकक्ष। भौतिकी और रसायन विज्ञान के लिए – मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान से प्रासंगिक विषय में स्नातकोत्तर/मास्टर डिग्री। GATE/NET/SET योग्यता वांछनीय है लेकिन अनिवार्य नहीं है।

📅 Last Date for Application: 12 September 2026 up to 3:00 PM. Applications must reach the office of the Principal on or before this date. The application form is available on the college website.

How to Apply: Candidates must download the application form from the college website www.govtpolyreasi.edu.in and submit it along with self‑attested copies of academic/technical qualification certificates, domicile certificate, GATE/NET/SET certificate (if any), and experience certificate (if any) to the office of the Principal on or before the last date. The application must be submitted offline.

आवेदन कैसे करें: उम्मीदवारों को कॉलेज की वेबसाइट www.govtpolyreasi.edu.in से आवेदन पत्र डाउनलोड करना होगा और इसे अकादमिक/तकनीकी योग्यता प्रमाणपत्रों, डोमिसाइल प्रमाणपत्र, GATE/NET/SET प्रमाणपत्र (यदि कोई हो) और अनुभव प्रमाणपत्र (यदि कोई हो) की स्व‑सत्यापित प्रतियों के साथ अंतिम तिथि से पहले प्राचार्य कार्यालय में जमा करना होगा। आवेदन ऑफलाइन जमा किया जाना चाहिए।

Selection Process: Selection shall be made purely on merit basis with the following points allocation: Basic qualification – 80 points (pro‑rata basis), Higher qualification – 05 points, GATE/NET/SET – 05 points, Teaching experience (Polytechnic Diploma level or higher) – 05 points (01 point per academic year, pro‑rata), Interaction with concerned candidates – 05 points. Total: 100 points.

चयन प्रक्रिया: चयन पूर्णतः मेरिट आधार पर किया जाएगा जिसमें निम्नलिखित अंक आवंटन होगा: मूल योग्यता – 80 अंक (आनुपातिक आधार पर), उच्च योग्यता – 05 अंक, GATE/NET/SET – 05 अंक, शिक्षण अनुभव (पॉलिटेक्निक डिप्लोमा स्तर या उच्चतर) – 05 अंक (प्रत्येक शैक्षणिक वर्ष के लिए 01 अंक, आनुपातिक), संबंधित उम्मीदवारों के साथ अंतःक्रिया – 05 अंक। कुल: 100 अंक।

Terms & Conditions: The remuneration for Guest Faculty shall be ₹750 per lecture to a maximum of ₹20,000 per month. The engagement is purely on guest faculty norms and shall be only for one academic session (November‑December 2026). Selected candidates shall submit an undertaking/affidavit duly authenticated by a First‑Class Magistrate before joining, indicating that they shall not claim continuation of services and that the agreement can be terminated at any point without notice.

नियम एवं शर्तें: अतिथि संकाय का पारिश्रमिक ₹750 प्रति व्याख्यान होगा, जो अधिकतम ₹20,000 प्रति माह तक होगा। यह नियुक्ति पूर्णतः अतिथि संकाय मानदंडों पर होगी और केवल एक शैक्षणिक सत्र (नवंबर‑दिसंबर 2026) के लिए होगी। चयनित उम्मीदवारों को प्रथम श्रेणी मजिस्ट्रेट द्वारा सत्यापित एक शपथ पत्र/अफिडेविट जमा करना होगा, जिसमें स्पष्ट रूप से उल्लेख होगा कि वे सेवाओं की निरंतरता का दावा नहीं करेंगे और समझौते को बिना किसी सूचना अवधि के किसी भी समय समाप्त किया जा सकता है।
