ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
Govt. Polytechnic College, Shopian invites applications from eligible candidates who are domicile of UT
of J&K and are inte rested for engagement as guest faculty for the upcoming academicsession purely on
temporary basis. The hard copy of application along with a brief CV and self attested copies of relevant
testimonials may be sent this office through mail [email protected] by or before 29th March,
2023 up to 4.00 PM.

Eligibility criteria for selection as pernorms is:
80 points for basic eligibility qualification.
05 points for higher qualification.
05 points for GATE/NET/SET.
05 points for teaching experience (at Polytechnic diploma level or higher)-on pro rata basis (01

Terms and Conditions
The engagement shall be strictly as per the Guest faculty norms and shall be for only one academic session.
The selected candidates shall have to submit an undertaking /affidavit duly authenticated by first class
magistrate that the candidate shall not laim for continuation of his/her services and that the agreement
can be terminated at any point of time without any notice period.
The candidates engaged shall be paid remuneration of @Rs 750/- per lecture/hour, subject to a maximum
of Rs. 20,000/- per month in terms of Govt. order no.89-JKk (DSD) of 2021 dated 18-11-2021.
The undersigned reserves the right to cancel /withdraw part or whole of this advertisement for the
engagement of guest faculty.
