Subject: Engagement of Guest Faculty in Government Polytechnic Jammu

ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Guest Faculty for the academic session Nov-Dec 2025 for the below-mentioned disciplines:

S.No.	Discipline/Subject	Qualification
1.	Mathematics	M.Sc Mathematics with 55% marks from recognized university.
2.	Medical Lab Technology	Lab Instructor: – Bachelor’s in MLT with 55% marks from recognized university. – Diploma holders/first class in Diploma in Medical Lab Technology. Preference shall be given to candidates from category-I; in case no candidate from category-I is available, then preference shall be given to category-II, then to category-III.

Application Process:

The application as per format (available on: www.govtpolytechnicjammu.edu.in) accompanied with self-attested photocopies of the following documents (in form of hardcopy only) must be submitted in the office of the undersigned by or before 25-08-2025 by 4:00 PM. No application shall be entertained after the said date/time in any case.

Academic/Technical Qualification (certificate/mark sheet)
Domicile Certificate
DOB Certificate
Experience certificate, if any

Terms and Conditions:

Engagement shall be purely on need basis for the academic session Nov-Dec 2025 only and does not confer any right for permanent appointment.
Selected candidates shall have to submit an undertaking that they shall not claim for regularization or continuation in the department and have no court case/fixture/registration for his/her services.
Verification of documents will be done; any certificates found fake/forged will lead to cancellation of candidature.
Selection shall be made purely on merit basis. 80 points split for higher qualifications, university positions, NET/GATE/SET, and 20 points for experience.
Preference will be given to higher-level PhD/NET-qualified candidates with concerned academic branch.
Interview: 26-08-2025 at 11:00 AM (no separate call letter will be issued).
Remuneration: Rs. 750/hour. As per norms, remuneration subject to ceiling of Rs. 20,000/- per month.
