Applications on plain paper along with Bank Draft worth Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred), on the name of Principal, Govt. Unani Medical College Cum Hospital, Nawabagh, Ganderbal, Kashmir, are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement of various categories of posts under Jammu and Kashmir Medical and Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis) Rules, 2020, notified vide S.0 364, in the Govt. Unani Medical College cum Hospital, Ganderbal, Kashmir.

2.Degree/Diploma Certificate issued by the University/Board/paramedical Council of J&K

3. Registration Certificate from the concerned Board wherever applicable;

4. Date of birth certificate issued by the J&K, Board of School Education

5. Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority;

6. Category certificate issued by the concerned authority

7. An affidavit duly attested by the First Class Judicial/Executive Magistrate to the effect that the candidate is not in any active

8. Bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) in favour of Principal, Govt. Unani Medical College Cum Hospital, Nawabagh, Ganderbal,

Kashmir.

9. Four(04) passport size photographs

10. Retirement notification (in respect of the retired employees only, if any).

Mode of selection

The selection of the candidates shall be made by the designated Selection Committee, constituted in terms of Sub Rule (2)

of Rule 6 of the Jammu and Kashmir Medical and Dental Education (Appointment on Academic Arrangement Basis) Rules, 2020.

During scrutiny of the application forms by the designated Committee, the candidates who are found ineligible shall be

formally communicated about the rejection of their candidature.

The engagement shall be for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good

performance and conduct) or till the selection is made in accordance with the recruitment rules, governing the respective posts,

whichever is earlier. Further, the extension shall be made by the Principal concerned on year to year basis for the first three (03) years

and beyond three years, the case(s) will be considered by the Government and once approved, the Principal concerned shall be the

authority to grant further extensions for another three years, however no extensions shall be granted beyond the period of six (06)

years under any circumstances and this shall be clearly indicted in the engagement order.
