ICAR-CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TEMPERATE HORTICULTURE has issued advertisement notification F.No. 1-1(339)/Estt./6892-94 dated 29.10.2026 for a Walk-In-Interview scheduled on 11th November, 2026 (11:00 am onwards) at ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, J&K, purely on a co-terminus basis. The engagement will initially be for a period of 01 year or till the sanction of the project, whichever is earlier and subject to the availability of funds.

Candidates who fulfill the requisite qualification should bring their brief bio-data neatly typed along with original and attested photocopies of qualification certificates, passport-size photographs for verification and submission before the designation committee.

Selection process includes: 50 Marks for Essential Qualification, 05 Marks for Doctor of Philosophy, 10 marks for Research experience relevant to the project mandate (02 marks for each completed Calendar year), 10 Marks for Research Publications relevant to the project mandate ([02 mark for each research publication with NAAS rating only (Two mark for first author and one mark for co-author)]), 05 Marks for Awards (one mark for each award) 20 marks for Personal Interview.

Age limits are a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 45 years, relaxable as per the guidelines of GoI/ICAR. Selected candidates will be paid emoluments as per norms of GoI/ICAR, and a No Objection Certificate from the employer/University is required if employed. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
