The ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture (ICAR-CITH), Srinagar has released an official employment notification inviting eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview. The engagement is purely on a Co-Termination basis for a project post located at K.D. Farm, Old Air Field, PO: Rangreth, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir.
The notification carries the advertisement number DIPK-NB-550/26 dated 20-05-26. The initial engagement will be for a period of up to one (01) year, or till the sanction of the project and availability of funds, whichever is earlier. Candidates must bring their neatly typed brief bio-data, experience certificates, along with original and attested photocopies of qualification certificates and passport size photographs for verification.

Selection Process: The selection matrix will distribute marks as follows: 60 Marks for Essential Qualification, 10 Marks for Post Graduation, 10 Marks for Experience (calculated at 02 Marks for each completed year), and 20 Marks for the Personal Interview.
Important Terms & Conditions:
- The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum limit is 45 years, with relaxations applicable as per the guidelines of GoI/ICAR.
- Candidates currently employed must furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer/University.
- The appointment is on a full-time, contractual basis. The appointee will not be permitted to take up any other assignment during this engagement period.
- The appointee must give a two (02) months prior intimation or a complete report to the satisfaction of the Principal Investigator before resignation.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
- The final results of the interview will be hosted on the official Institute website 10 days after the interview. No phone calls will be entertained before that date.
