Nursery Pilot Study on Pome Fruits for detection of virus and virus like pathogens in Temperate Regions under Clean Plant Programme.

ICAR-CITH, Srinagar.

Essential: Master’s Degree in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology & Biotechnology / Agriculture / Horticulture with specialization in Plant Pathology / Agricultural Biotechnology.

Desirable Experience: Well acquainted with serological techniques like ELISA and molecular techniques like RT-PCR, qRT-PCR, sample collections, symptom identification particularly viral symptoms in plants, Molecular characterization of virus and virus like pathogens.

@Rs. 42,000.00 consolidated (Rupees Forty-Two Thousand Only).

Selection Process & Key Terms

The final merit selection criteria will be evaluated out of a total score framework breakdown:
• 50 Marks for Post-Graduation
• 05 Marks for Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
• 10 Marks for Research Publications (01 mark for each publication with NAAS rating only)
• 10 Marks for Research Experience (02 marks for each year completed)
• 05 Marks for Awards (01 mark for each award)

Important Terms and Notes:
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years, with relaxation as per GoI/ICAR guidelines.
• Tenure: Initially for a period of 6 months, extendable based on performance and fund availability.
• Nature of Post: Purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
