The eligible candidates are invited for Walk-In-Interview on 29.10.2024 at 11:00 AM ICAR-CITH, Srinagar for the following temporary position under Hazard analysis in Pome fruits in temperate region of India under Clean Plant Programme on purely contractual basis.

The candidates who fulfill the requisite qualifications as indicated below should bring their brief bio-date neatly typed and experience certificates along with original and attested photocopies of qualification certificates, passport size photographs for verification and submission.

National Horticult ure Board (NHB)

Essential:- Masters of Science in Biotechnology, Agriculture/Horticult ure with specialization in Plant Pathol- ogy, Biotechnology Desirable:-expe- rience in surveying, Viral diseases etc

Selection criteria: 50 marks for essential qualification, 05 marks for Doctor of Philosophy, 05 marks for Research experience (1 mark for each year), 10 marks for Research Publications, 05 marks for Awards (01 mark for each award), 05 marks for NET and 20 marks for personal interview.

Note:

The age limit for Young Professional-Il will be 21 to 45 years as on 31.10.2024 age relaxation will be given as per the rules of Gol/ICAR.

YP-II is allowed to avail Casual Leave (CL) & Restricted Holidays (RH) as per under rules.

Selected candidates for the position will be paid emoluments as per norms of Gol/ICAR.

No objection certificate from the employer/University, in case of he/she is employed.

Candidate is engaged on need basis (Contractual) and can be discontinued at any time when such need will not there.

Initially the candidate shall be engaged for one year, however, extendable to another term of one year or till availability funds/tenure of project whichever is earlier subject to his/her per-

formance. The appointment (s) YP-ll will be on full time basis and he/she would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of engagement with ICAR-CITH, Srinagar.

The selected candidate shall not claim for any regular appointment as the positions are purely temporary.

•No TA/TD will be paid for attending the Walk-In-Interview.

The Director ICAR-CITH, Srinagar reserve the right to terminate his/her services without any notice at any time and the decision of the Director, ICAR-CITH, Srinagar will be final and binding

in all respect.

The candidate shall bring original qualification at the time of interview for verification along with copy of mark sheets duly self attested publications experience and other documents.

The appointee shall give two months prior intimation in case he/she intends to leave the engagement and shall submit a complete report to the satisfaction of Principal Investigator before

resignation.
