WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The eligible candidates are invited for the Walk-In-Interview on 13th August, 2026 (11:00 am onwards) at ICAR-Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar, J&K for engagement purely on a Co-Termination basis. The engagement will initially be for a period of 01 Year or till sanction of project, whichever is earlier, and engagement shall also remain based on availability of funds.

Selection Process
- Essential Qualification: 50 Marks
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): 05 Marks
- Research Experience: 10 Marks (relevant to project mandate – 02 marks for each completed calendar year)
- Research Publications: 10 Marks (relevant to project mandate with NAAS rating only – 02 marks for first author, 01 mark for co-author)
- Awards: 05 Marks (01 mark for each award)
- Personal Interview: 20 Marks
Important Instructions & Conditions
- Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (relaxable as per GoI/ICAR guidelines).
- Documents to Bring: Brief bio-data neatly typed along with original certificates and self-attested photocopies of qualification certificates, publications, experience certificates, and passport-size photographs.
- No Objection Certificate: Required from the employer/university if currently employed.
- Nature of Post: Purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the project. Candidates shall not claim regular appointment.
- TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
