Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) released Advertisement No. ICMR/Rectt/NARFBR/01/2025-RPCell inviting online applications for regular direct recruitment to scientific vacancies at ICMR–National Animal Resource Facility for Biomedical Research (NARFBR), Hyderabad.
Vacancies are for initial posting for three years, and all-India transfer liability applies as per Council norms.

Posts and Pay Levels:

• Scientist-C (Level-11, Rs. 67700-208700): Medical, Veterinary Surgery, Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Large Animal Disease Management
• Scientist-D (Level-12, Rs. 78800-209200): Non-Medical, Veterinary
• Scientist-E (Level-13, Rs. 123100-215900): Veterinary

Eligibility Criteria

• Medical: MBBS or equivalent, 4 years’ experience; desirable—MD/MS, MPH or PhD in biomedical sciences
• Veterinary: BVSc & AH, 4-8 years’ experience; desirable—MVSc AH/PhD
• Non-Medical: Master’s in biomedical sciences/Pharm-D, 8 years’ experience; desirable—PhD with research experience
• Scientist-E: MVSc AH or PhD in Veterinary Science/biomedical sciences, 10 years (2 years managerial) experience

Desirable specialization varies by post (cardio-thoracic surgery, digital pathology, large animal management, regulatory preclinical studies, business development, research in gene therapy/cell therapy, GLP/GMP practices, etc.).

Age limits:
Scientist-C: 40 years; Scientist-D: 45 years; Scientist-E: 50 years (relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PwD/EWS & exceptional merit as per rules).

Selection:
Written test and/or interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called as per Council norms.

Application Fee: Rs. 1500 (exempt for SC/ST/Women/PwD/EWS).
