ENGAGEMENT OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAK FROM DEPARTMENT OF POSTS TO IPPB AS EXECUTIVE

India Post Payments Bank Limited (IPPB) — a Government of India undertaking under the Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications — has announced the Engagement of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) to the post of Executive.

IPPB aims to drive India’s banking and financial inclusion revolution by leveraging the vast postal network of over 1.65 lakh post offices and approximately 3 lakh postmen and GDS to provide doorstep banking services.

The bank invites applications from eligible Gramin Dak Sevaks who meet the required eligibility criteria.

3. Job Profile (Executive)

Achieve monthly revenue targets through direct sales.
Conduct campaigns and financial literacy drives.
Train and guide GDS on IPPB products.
Coordinate with Department of Posts staff.
Acquire and retain customers and channel partners.
Perform duties assigned by the bank.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Criteria	Details
Age Limit	20–35 years (as on 01.08.2025)
Qualification	Graduate in any discipline (Regular/Distance) from a recognized university
Experience	Not required

Note: Applicant should have no pending vigilance/disciplinary cases.

5. Pay and Allowances

₹30,000/- per month (inclusive of deductions).
Annual increment and incentives based on performance.
No other allowances applicable.

6. Tenure of Engagement

Initial tenure: 1 year, extendable up to 2 more years based on performance.
Engagement does not guarantee regular absorption.
Cooling-off period: 2 years after engagement.

7. Selection Procedure

Merit list prepared based on graduation marks.
Tie-breakers: DoP seniority > Date of birth.
Bank reserves right to conduct an online test.

8. Application Fee

₹750/- (Non-refundable).
Ensure eligibility before payment; no refund under any condition.

9. Other Details

Governed by GDS Conduct & Engagement Rules, 2020.
Tenure treated as service in GDS post for seniority and benefits.
Any misconduct may lead to repatriation or disqualification.
Disputes subject to Delhi jurisdiction.
