भारतीय वन प्रबंध संस्थान के कंप्यूटर सेंटर के लिए सिस्टम और नेटवर्क सहायक के एक पद हेतु पात्र उम्मीदवारों से अनुबंध के आधार पर आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं।

नियुक्ति की अवधिः शुरू में एक वर्ष के लिए जिसे प्रदर्शन के आधार पर एक और वर्ष तक बढ़ाया जा सकता है।

योग्यता और अनुभवः
- (अ) आवश्यक योग्यताः
  1. किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान से कम से कम 60% अंकों के साथ कंप्यूटर विज्ञान इंजीनियरिंग (सीएसई)/ सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (आईटी) में स्नातक की डिग्री।
  2. किसी सरकारी कार्यालय/पीएसयू/सांविधिक निकाय/केंद्र/राज्य सरकार के संगठन/विश्वविद्यालय/स्वायत्त निकाय/केंद्र द्वारा वित्तपोषित संस्थान/राष्ट्रीय ख्याति प्राप्त निजी उच्च शिक्षा संस्थान/प्रसिद्ध कॉर्पोरेट फर्म में सूचना प्रणाली/प्रणाली रखरखाव एवं आईटी नेटवर्क प्रशासन के संबंधित क्षेत्र में न्यूनतम 3 वर्ष का अनुभव।
- (ब) वांछनीय योग्यताएं:
  1. संबंधित विषय में स्नातकोत्तर उपाधि।
  2. नेटवर्किंग, रखरखाव आदि के संबंधित क्षेत्र में व्यावसायिक प्रमाणपत्र।
  3. स्वतंत्र प्रभार, आईटी सिस्टम, ईआरपी सिस्टम, कंप्यूटर लैब, सेवा विन्यास एवं नेटवर्किंग आदि की स्थापना का अनुभव।
  4. शैक्षणिक/शोध संस्थानों के साथ काम करने का अनुभव।
नौकरी की जिम्मेदारियां:
1. सिस्टम प्रशासन/रखरखाव कार्य करना, पूरे परिसर में आईटी अवसंरचना विशेष रूप से इंटरनेट सेवाओं का उचित कार्यान्वयन और रखरखाव सुनिश्चित करना।
2. सभी संस्थागत हितधारकों (छात्र, संकाय, प्रशासन आदि) और सरकारी एजेंसियों (जैसे एनकेएन, बीएसएनएल आदि) के साथ समन्वय करना ताकि सभी संबंधित हार्डवेयर और सेवाओं को बनाए रखते हुए आईटी सेवाओं का सुचारू संचालन सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
3. भारत सरकार के GIGW मानदंडों के अनुसार संस्थागत वेबसाइट का रखरखाव करना।
4. आंतरिक आईटी हार्डवेयर/सॉफ्टवेयर/सेवाओं से संबंधित शिकायतों का रखरखाव और प्रबंधन करना।
5. संस्थागत ईआरपी गतिविधियों का समन्वय और सुविधा प्रदान करना।
6. आईटी उपकरण और संबद्ध बुनियादी ढांचे की स्थापना में सहायता करना।
7. डिजिटल लर्निंग और ऑनलाइन परीक्षा/मीटिंग प्लेटफॉर्म में सहायता करना और तकनीकी और प्रशासनिक मुद्दों के समाधान के लिए तीसरे पक्ष की सहायता सेवाओं के साथ इंटरफेस करना।

Qualification and Experience:
- (a) Essential Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) from a recognized University/Institute with at least 60% marks.
  2. Minimum experience of 3 years in relevant field of Information System/ Maintaining systems & IT Network Administration in a Government Office/ PSU/ Statutory Body/ Central/State Government Organizations/Universities/Autonomous bodies/ Centrally Funded Institutions/ Private Higher Education Institutes of national repute/ renowned corporate firms.
- (b) Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Masters’ Degree in the relevant discipline.
  2. Professional certifications in the relevant field of networking, maintenance etc.
  3. Experience of independent charge, setup of IT Systems, ERP Systems, Computer Labs, Service Configuration & Networking etc.
  4. Experience of working with academic / research institutes.
Job Responsibilities:
1. To perform system administration/maintenance tasks, ensure proper implementation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure particularly internet services across the campus.
2. To coordinate with all institutional stakeholders (students, faculty, admin etc.) and government agencies (like NKN, BSNL etc.) in order to ensure smooth functioning of IT services by upkeeping all related hardware & services.
3. To maintain and upkeep the Institutional website as per GIGW norms of Gol.
4. Maintain and handle internal IT Hardware/software/services related complaints.
5. To coordinate and facilitate institutional ERP activities.
6. To support in the installation of IT Equipment & allied infrastructure.
7. To support in digital learning and online examination/meeting platforms and interface with third party support services for resolution of technical and administrative issues.
8. Any other task assigned by the Institute from time to time.
