Applications are invited from the candidates as per the
eligibility (see below) for one position of Junior Research
Fellow (JRF) under National Mission on Himalayan
Studies, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate
Change, Govt. of India sponsored project “Himalayan
Alpine Biodiversity Characterization and Information
System-Network (NMHS-IIRS). The position will be tem-
porary and co-terminus with project, which will last till January
2023, most likely to be extended for another year. Interested
candidates can apply for the same on prescribed format and
as per details provided on the websites of University of Jammu
(https://www.jammuuniversity.ac.in) and Bhaderwah Campus
(www.bhaderwahcampus.in). The application should be

for receiving the applications (both in soft and hard) is 15 days
from the date of publication of this advertisement. The

Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
Eligibility: First class M.Sc. in Environmental Science
Botany/Forestry/Ecology/Remote Sensing & GIS (with spe-
cialisation in Forest Ecology) with 65% marks or CGPA/ CPI
grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale or equivalent.
Remuneration per month: Rs. 31,000+9% HRA.
Upper age limit: As per UGC norms.
