The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora, Kashmir, has invited applications for the post of Project Assistant (PA).
The position is part of a research project titled:
“Development and Validation of an IoT-Enabled Smart IV Infusion System for Patient Safety in Resource-Constrained Hospitals,” sanctioned by the J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council.
This opportunity is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration.
Position Details:
Post Name: Project Assistant (PA)
Number of Posts: 01
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- plus HRA (as admissible)
Eligibility:
• Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EE) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) with 60% marks and above
• Preference: Candidates with GATE qualification or M.Tech degree
Duration:
Initially six months, extendable based on performance and availability of funds.

Will be displayed on the university website.
Interview Date & Time:
Will be notified on the university website.
Terms & Conditions:
• The position is purely temporary.
• Selected candidates cannot claim regular appointment at the university.
• Candidates must bring hard copies of the application form and self-attested testimonials at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• If selected candidates wish to withdraw, they must serve one month’s notice or pay one month’s salary.
