Advertisement for Engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DBT-sponsored research project. The project is being conducted at the Watson–Crick Centre for Molecular Medicine.
Project Title
“Exploring the Role of TGF-β Pseudoreceptor BAMBI-Driven Androgen Deprivation Therapy-Induced Muscle Wasting in Prostate Cancer Cachexia”

🎓 Qualification & Age Limit
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biochemistry / Clinical Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology with not less than 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
The candidate must have qualified JRF / NET / GATE / SET or any other equivalent accredited examination, as applicable.

Desirable Qualification
Preference may be given to candidates having research experience in:
- Tissue culture
- Transfection
- Making stable cell lines
Age Limit

Duration of Engagement
The position is purely temporary and contractual. It shall be co-terminus with the duration of the project. It is subject to availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
The engagement shall not confer any right or claim for regular appointment in the University.
