ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE

Applications on prescribed format are invited from the eligible and interested candidates for the below mentioned positions available in the project on “Photogrammetric Documentation of Artefacts Housed at SPS Museum, Srinagar & Dogra Art Museum, Jammu.”

The project is supported by the CSR initiative of J&K Bank. The engagement is purely on a temporary basis.

Data Analyst – 1 Post

Eligibility: B.Tech CSE/IT/ECE or B.Arch with 2-year experience in image-based data compilation, analysis, processing & metadata development.
Desirable: Post Graduate Degree in the relevant field and experience of having worked in the areas of culture and heritage sector.
Remuneration: ₹45,000/- per month for 6 months.

Project Assistant – 1 Post

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with 1-year experience of working with data digitization, verification and management.
Desirable: Post Graduate degree in the relevant field (architecture, graphic design, fine art, etc.) and relevant work experience in culture and heritage sector.
Remuneration: ₹30,000/- per month for 6 months.

The appointment shall be purely temporary in nature.
The appointee shall not claim whatsoever for regularization in the university during project tenure or after the project concludes.
The appointee shall be governed by the disciplinary regulations of the university.
The appointee will be reviewed periodically for performance and if it is found unsatisfactory, the engagement will be terminated at any time without any prior notice.
The appointee is neither permitted to publish the data/findings nor disclose the information pertaining to intellectual property rights.
The terms and conditions governing the service shall be as per the rules & regulations of university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable) with amendments from time to time.
The University reserves the right to defer or not fill up the post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.
The salary component is subject to the release of funds by the funding agency.
