Advertisement of one position of Project Associate – I in PURSE Project
Applications are invited for filling up the below – mentioned position under the DST – PURSE sponsored project “Establishment of an Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Research Program for Chronic Diseases”. The position is purely contractual & co-terminus with the project. The last date for receipt of applications is Fabruary 1, 2024.
PROJECT ASSOCIATE – I
Essential qualifications
M.Sc. in Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Medicine/Clinical Biochemistry/ Biosciences, or Immunology or MVSC, Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine.
Desirable qualifications: Experience working with bioinformatics platforms (R software, SPSS), high dimensional data, experience in epidemiological surveys and excellent analytical, organizational and interpretative skills.
Job description: The candidate would be involved in a research project on ‘Epidemiological survey of chronic diseases’.
Upper age limit. 35 years
Fellowship:
i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through
a) National Eligibility Tests -CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant
Professorship) or GATE or
b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i)
Duration of the project: 4 years
