Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant for SERB SURE Research project sanctioned by DST SERB under PI: Dr. Aga Shahee in the Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIIS), IUST-Awantipora. The title of the project is “Magnetoelectric multiferroic hexaferrite-polymer nanocomposites for flexible electronics and development of a magnetoelectric AC susceptometer”.

Duration of Project/ Terms and Conditions
03 Years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The tenure of the PA appointed in this scheme is co-terminus with the scheme.
The offer will be initially for One Year that can be extended further based on the
performance.
Job Description
Responsibilities include supporting experimental work, contributing to device development, conducting literature reviews, manuscript writing, day-to-day project documentation and management.
Qualification
Essential:
B.Sc. or a 3-year diploma in Engineering and Technology Minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA
Desirable:
Basic knowledge of Condensed Matter Physics, especially electron transport and Material Characterization
Hands-on experience in materials synthesis, characterization techniques, and experimental setups
Programming skills (e.g., Python, LabVIEW)
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently & collaboratively within a research team.
