Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (RA) under the project titled “Development of a low-cost haptic feedback enabled robotic interface for teaching STEM concepť” sanctioned by J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, in favour of Dr. Majid H Koul (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Islamic University of Science and Technology. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Rs. 20,000/month (Consolidated)
Essential qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech Mechanical/Mechatronics/Robotics/Electronics/Electrical/ Computer Science Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent.
Desirable: Candidates having expertise in Control Systems, Instrumentation, Virtual Reality, Robotics, Mechatronics, CAD
Duration
Initially for a period of six months extendable based on performance and subject to the availability of funds.
