EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

Online applications from the domiciles of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir are invited for the following position(s) available in the Islamic University of Science & Technology, Kashmir, purely on a contract basis for a period of six months:

Post: Junior Technical Assistant
No. of Posts: 01

Eligibility:
Essential:
(i) B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science / Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average from a recognized University/Institute.
(ii) A minimum of one-year experience in the field of Network Support / Network Security / Hardware & Software Maintenance & Biometric Systems.

Desirable:
(i) Good Communication Skills.
(ii) Experience in University or other large institutional setups will be preferred.

Important Dates and Information:
• Date of availability of Online Application Form: 05-12-2025
• Last date of submission of Online Application Form: 15-12-2025 (4:30 PM)
• Last date of submission of hard copy of the Form: 16-12-2025
• Consolidated monthly remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- (twenty-five thousand only)

Terms and Conditions / Instructions:
• The engagement shall be purely contractual and shall not confer any right whatsoever on the prospective appointee to claim continuation or otherwise.

• Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the University website www.iust.ac.in and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. After online submission, candidates must submit a hard copy of the application form along with self-attested copies of all relevant documents to the office of the Director, DIT&SS, on any working day before the last date. Failure to submit the hard copy will result in cancellation of candidature.

• Candidates will be informed about the date and place of the written test/interview via email or the University website. The University is not responsible for non-receipt or delay of communication.
• All updates, addendums, and corrigenda shall be available only on the University website www.iust.ac.in.

• Candidates with degrees from foreign universities must attach an Equivalence Certificate from AIU, New Delhi.
• The University reserves the right to defer or not fill the post without assigning any reason.
• The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts.
• Selected candidates must adhere to all Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, rules, and professional ethics of the University.

• Engagement order/salary will be issued only after satisfactory verification of character and antecedents.
• Legal jurisdiction: Courts at Srinagar only.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test/interview.
