Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (RA) under the project titled “Enhancement of Performance of Solar Collectors using Advanced Nano Fluids” sanctioned by J&K Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, in favor of Dr. Ovais Gulzar (PI), Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Islamic University of Science and Technology. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Rs. 20,000/month (Consolidated)
Essential qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech Mechanical Engineering/Energy Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent.
Duration
Desirable: Candidates having expertise in Solar Energy, nanofluids, Experimental thermal and fluid systems. Initially, for a period of six months, extendable based on performance and subject to the availability of funds. Will be displayed on the university website

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
i. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and the candidates shall not claim regular appointments in the university.
ii.
The University reserves the right to terminate the contract of non-performing candidates at any time without prior notice.

Eligible candidates must bring all the testimonials/certificates (in original and one attested copy)
iv. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates appearing for the interview.
v. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualifications, experience, etc., at the time of the interview.
vi. The University reserves the right to defer/not to filling up of post advertised here in above, without assigning any reason thereof.

In case a candidate wants to withdraw, he/she must serve a one-month notice period (or one- month salary).
viii. The terms and conditions governing the appointment shall be as per the rules and regulations of the university and/or funding agency (wherever applicable), with amendments from time to time.
