J&K Bank Recruitment 2026: Zonal Security Officer Position

The Jammu and Kashmir Bank (J&K Bank) has released an official recruitment notification for the post of Zonal Security Officer. This position is being offered on a contractual basis to strengthen the security infrastructure of the bank’s operations in the Jammu region.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Candidates must have served in the rank of DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) or equivalent in Police, Army, or Paramilitary forces. A minimum of three years of experience in this rank is mandatory, along with a meritorious service record.

Job Description

The Zonal Security Officer will be responsible for the overall implementation and periodic review of the Bank’s Security Policy. Key duties include planning and execution of security at Bank premises in compliance with RBI and Government of India guidelines.

The officer will also manage security staff training, maintain liaison with local Police and Fire Services, and provide professional inputs to the Central Security Department to ensure the setup remains foolproof.

Selection Methodology
