VACANCY CIRCULAR

Subject: Selection for the post of Technical Member (State/UT)in Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal for UT of J&K.

1. The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) is the Appellate Authority Established under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (“hereinafter referred to as CGST Act”) to hear appeals arising out of orders passed by/decisions of the Appellate and Revisional authorities under the said Act and the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.

One bench of GSTAT has been constituted Vide S.O. No 4073(E) dated 14.09.2023 in the UT of J&K for which one Technical Member (State/UT) is to be selected by the UT Government through a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted in terms of clause (a) of sub-sec- tion (4) of section 110 of the CGST Act.
