POSHAN BANDIPORA RECRUITMENT 2026

The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), POSHAN Project Bandipora, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has officially issued Advertisement Notice No. 11 of 2025, dated 07 January 2025, inviting applications for the engagement of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) on honorarium basis.

This recruitment is being carried out under the guidelines of the Social Welfare Department, J&K, in accordance with the Government Orders cited below.

Approval has been accorded for filling up vacant posts in various Anganwadi Centres (AWCs) falling under the POSHAN Project Bandipora.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (OVERVIEW)
─────────────────────────────

▶ Sangini (Anganwadi Worker – AWW)

• Minimum Qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary)
• Residence: Must be a permanent resident of the same ward/hamlet where the Anganwadi Centre is located
• Age Limit: Generally 18–37 years (as per SWD norms & relaxations)

▶ Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper – AWH)

• Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass)
• Residence: Local resident of the concerned Anganwadi Centre area
• Age Limit: As per Government norms

SELECTION PROCESS

✔ Selection will be purely merit-based
✔ Marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered
✔ Preference will be given to local women candidates of the respective ward
✔ Final selection will strictly follow Social Welfare Department, J&K guidelines

No interview is generally conducted unless notified separately.
