Recruitment Opportunity at POSHAN Project Srinagar

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), POSHAN Project Srinagar, has released a fresh advertisement notice for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) and Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas).

This recruitment drive (5th Phase) aims to fill vacant positions across various Anganwadi Centres within the Srinagar district. Eligible female candidates are invited to apply on an honorarium basis.

Eligibility Criteria

For Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis)

1. The candidate must be a domicile of the UT of J&K.

2. Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years as on 01.01.2026 are eligible.

3. The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated. Voter lists serve as proof of residence.

4. Minimum qualification is 10+2 and maximum is Graduation. Candidates with qualifications higher than graduation will not be considered.

For Anganwadi Helpers (Sahayikas)

1. Selection is restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.

2. Age limit: 18-37 years as on 01.01.2026.

3. Minimum qualification is Matriculation (10th pass). If no matriculate is available, candidates with at least 8th standard pass may be considered.

Candidates must submit their applications in the prescribed format (Annexure ‘A’) along with an affidavit attested by a 1st Class Magistrate. The following documents are required:

Marks Sheets/Diploma of prescribed qualification.
Date of Birth/Matriculation Certificate.
Domicile Certificate of J&K.
Unmarried Certificate (issued by Concerned Tehsildar) where applicable.
Aadhar Card and Voter ID Card with Electoral Poll proof.
Recent color passport size photographs.
