Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Male	1600m in 6m30s; 20 pushups
Female	1000m in 6m30s; Shot Put 4kg – 14ft/3 attempts

Ex-Servicemen: Relaxations up to 8 min for 1600m, fewer pushups, and shorter Shot Put distance by age bracket.

Selection Process (Annexure-C)

Written Test (OMR, MCQ, English; Negative Marking: 1/4 per wrong answer; NCC Certificate holders: up to 5% bonus marks per SO 290/2021)
PST: Only qualified candidates, six times the vacancies, appear for PST (qualifying only)
PET: Only PST qualifiers take PET (qualifying only)
