The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 12 of 2025, dated 24.12.2025. This notification announces the recruitment of 1815 posts of Constable (Executive Police) in the Home Department, J&K. The vacancies are categorized under the Divisional Cadre for both Jammu and Kashmir divisions.

For Ex-Servicemen, the period of service in Armed Forces can be deducted from the actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed the limit by more than 3 years, they satisfy the age condition.

Physical Standards and Endurance Requirements

Based on the selection criteria mentioned in the official document, candidates must meet the following physical standards:

Application and Selection Process

The appointment of selected candidates is governed by the extant rules and regulations of the Government of UT of J&K. Candidates must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before 17.02.2026. The selection process comprises a Written Test, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Physical Endurance Test (PET).

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 700, while candidates belonging to SC, ST-1, ST-2, and EWS categories are eligible for a reduced fee of Rs. 600. All applications must be submitted through the official portal at www.jkssb.nic.in.
