The Population Research Centre (PRC) at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, has issued an advertisement notice for the recruitment of an Associate Professor.

This position is sanctioned under the University of Kashmir, which is NAAC Accredited Grade ‘A++’. The post is temporary but likely to continue subject to the continuation of the Centre by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Master’s Degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology/ Geography with at least 55% marks. 2. Non-Demography postgraduates must have a one-year regular course in Demography/ Population studies. 3. Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subjects. 4. Published research work on Demography & Health. 5. Minimum eight years of teaching/research experience with at least seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and a total Research score of 75.
