Filling up the post of Deputy Commissioner in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan through Direct Recruitment

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India invites applications for the post of Deputy Commissioner through direct recruitment in the Pay Level-12 (Rs.78,800-209,200/-) plus allowances as applicable to KVS. The details of vacancies to be filled through direct recruitment are as under:

Essential Qualifications:

i) Master’s Degree from recognized university with at least 50% marks.
ii) B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institution/University with at least 50% marks.

Three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with at least 50% marks from any NCTE recognized institution.
iii) Working as Assistant Commissioner in the field of educationist in Academic Administration/Organisation of Central/State Govt. in Pay Level 12 (Rs. 78,800 – Rs.209200) with minimum 5 years’ regular service.
iv) Working on equivalent post to Assistant Commissioner in the field of educationist in Academic Administration/Organisation of Central/State Govt./Autonomous body/PSU in Pay Level 12, with 5 years experience including experience in organizing training programs for teachers/administrators and experience in education.

Age Relaxation:

Maximum age 50 years as on 23-09-2025.
Relaxation in upper age limit in case of SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India Rules.

Important Notes:

Applications must be submitted only in the prescribed proforma with a demand draft of Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two thousand five hundred only) in favour of ‘KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN’ payable at New Delhi.

The officer selected will be posted anywhere in India as per requirements of KVS.
