The National Informatics Centre (NIC), an attached office under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has released a vacancy circular for the recruitment of Section Officers on a deputation basis. This premier government organization provides critical e-governance, network, and data centre services across central, state, and district levels.

There are a total of 10 (Ten) vacancies available at various NIC State Centres. The selected officers will be placed in Level-8 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 47,600 – 1,51,100). The initial period of deputation is for two years, which may be extended based on performance and vacancy availability.

Eligibility Criteria: Officers from Central/State Governments or UT Administrations holding analogous posts on a regular basis are eligible. Alternatively, those with six years of regular service in Level-7 (Assistant Section Officer) may apply. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and have three years of experience in establishment, personnel, purchase, or finance matters. The maximum age limit is 56 years as of the closing date. How to Apply: Willing and eligible candidates must submit their particulars in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) through proper channels. Applications should be accompanied by up-to-date APAR dossiers for the last five years and Vigilance/Disciplinary Clearance. Complete applications must reach the NIC Personnel Division at A-Block, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003 within 45 days of the advertisement’s publication in the Employment Newspaper.
