राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिकी एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (NIELIT), लेह, इलेक्ट्रॉनिकी एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के अधीन, ‘लद्दाख मॉनिस्टिक एंड हेरिटेज डिजिटाइजेशन’ परियोजना के तहत फील्ड असिस्टेंट/इंटर्न के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित करता है। यह नियुक्ति केवल एक वर्ष की अवधि के लिए है।

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Leh, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India, invites applications from eligible and qualified candidates for engagement as Field Assistants/Interns under the Ladakh Monastic and Heritage Digitization project. The engagement is for a period of one year only.

🎓 Training, Exposure & Digitization Scope

चयनित फील्ड असिस्टेंट/इंटर्न को लद्दाख की मठवासी और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के डिजिटल संरक्षण, दस्तावेज़ीकरण और डिजिटाइज़ेशन के विभिन्न पहलुओं में प्रशिक्षण और व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्रदान किया जाएगा। प्रशिक्षण में पेंटिंग, दीवार भित्तिचित्र, कलाकृतियाँ, थांगका पेंटिंग, और विरासत स्थलों की बाहरी व आंतरिक वास्तुकला विशेषताओं का दस्तावेज़ीकरण और डिजिटाइज़ेशन शामिल होगा।

The selected Field Assistants/Interns will be provided with training and practical exposure in various aspects of digital conservation, documentation, and digitization of Ladakh’s monastic and cultural heritage. The training will cover the documentation and digitization of paintings, wall murals, artefacts, Thangka paintings, and external and internal architectural features of heritage sites.

प्रशिक्षण और क्षमता निर्माण कार्यक्रम के तहत, फील्ड असिस्टेंट/इंटर्न को लद्दाख भर के विभिन्न मठों और विरासत स्थलों पर हाथों-हाथ व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण और क्षेत्र-आधारित डिजिटाइज़ेशन गतिविधियों के लिए भेजा जा सकता है।

As part of the training and capacity-building programme, the Field Assistants/Interns may be deputed to various identified monasteries and heritage sites across Ladakh for hands-on practical training and field-based digitization activities.

During the engagement, trainees will gain practical experience with advanced digitization equipment and software, including:

Drones for aerial documentation and mapping;
LiDAR scanners;
Large-format overhead scanners;
3D structured-light scanners;
Digital cameras for high-resolution photography;
Audio and video recording equipment;
360-degree cameras; and
Other relevant hardware, software, and digital tools for heritage documentation, conservation, and digitization.

ड्रोन, LiDAR स्कैनर, बड़े प्रारूप वाले ओवरहेड स्कैनर, 3D स्ट्रक्चर्ड-लाइट स्कैनर, डिजिटल कैमरे, ऑडियो-वीडियो उपकरण, 360-डिग्री कैमरे, तथा अन्य डिजिटल उपकरणों का व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा।

यह नियुक्ति कुशल स्थानीय मानव संसाधन विकसित करने और डिजिटल विरासत दस्तावेज़ीकरण, संरक्षण, और डिजिटाइज़ेशन में व्यावहारिक अनुभव प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से है, जबकि लद्दाख केंद्र शासित प्रदेश की समृद्ध मठवासी और सांस्कृतिक विरासत के व्यवस्थित दस्तावेज़ीकरण और संरक्षण का समर्थन करती है।

The engagement is intended to develop skilled local human resources and provide practical experience in digital heritage documentation, preservation, conservation, and digitization, while supporting the systematic documentation and preservation of the rich monastic and cultural heritage of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is a premier organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. NIELIT Ladakh is at the forefront of leveraging technology for the preservation of cultural heritage.
