The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced an official recruitment advertisement for a temporary research position. Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a prestigious project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

The selected researcher will have a chance to work on cutting-edge systems development in a premier academic setup, utilizing advanced simulation utilities. Furthermore, selected fellows will find an outstanding pathway for academic progression, as they will be eligible to register for a regular PhD program at NIT Warangal, subject to fulfilling institutional rules and advertisement criteria when it opens.

– Project Title: Development of Cyber-Resilient Distributed Control and Protection of Microgrid – Project Scheme: ARG-ANRF Project – Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Vacancies: One (01) – Duration: 3 years or till closure of project, whichever is earlier (annual performance review)	– Must have First Class with minimum 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of at least 6.5 on a 10-point scale in BOTH: 1. B.Tech/BE in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering. 2. M.Tech in Power Systems, Power Engineering, Smart Grid, Power Electronics & Drives, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid Technologies, or closely aligned specializations. – Preference to GATE qualified candidates (not essential).	– Strong background in power system analysis, microgrids, cyber-security, renewable energy control, electric vehicles, and simulation tools like MATLAB and PSCAD. – Preference for hands-on experience in design and validation of DC-DC and AC-DC converters, and microgrid control systems.	– Stipend: Rs. 37,000/- pm for the first 2 years; Rs. 42,000/- pm for the 3rd year. – HRA: 20% of monthly emoluments (No HRA if hostel provided). – Age Limit: 30 years (relaxation as per Institute norms).
