Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (An autonomous organisation of Ministry of Education, Govt. of India), Regional Office Chandigarh, intends to engage Counsellors (Male & Female) on contract basis in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across Punjab, HP, Jammu & Kashmir (U.T.), Ladakh (U.T.), and Chandigarh (U.T.) for the academic session 2026-27.

नवोदय विद्यालय समिति (शिक्षा मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार का एक स्वायत्त संगठन), क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय चंडीगढ़, शैक्षणिक सत्र 2026-27 के लिए पंजाब, हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू और कश्मीर (यू.टी.), लद्दाख (यू.टी.) और चंडीगढ़ (यू.टी.) के जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालयों में अनुबंध के आधार पर परामर्शदाताओं (पुरुष और महिला) को शामिल करने का इरादा रखता है।

Position: Counsellor (Male & Female)

Remuneration: Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 44,900/-.

Essential Qualification:

1. Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.A/M.Sc.) in Psychology from a recognized university or institution AND One year Diploma in guidance & counseling from a recognized university or institution.

2. Experience: At least one year experience in Guidance & Counselling/Counselling in any recognized School/educational institutes.

Age Criteria: Above 28 years and below 50 years as on 01.05.2026.

Application Fee: Non-refundable application Fee @ Rs. 500/- per candidate will be charged. However, SC / ST and PH candidates are exempted.

2. अनुभव: किसी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल/शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में मार्गदर्शन और परामर्श/परामर्श में कम से कम एक वर्ष का अनुभव।

आयु सीमा: 01.05.2026 को 28 वर्ष से अधिक और 50 वर्ष से कम।
