ADVERTISEMENT TO FILL UP PROJECT POSITION (JRF)
Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project position(s) on contract as per
the details given below for the research project under the Principal Investigator (Name: Dr
Gaurav Singal), Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, NSUT, New Delhi.
1. Title of project: Al based privacy-aware resilient framework for loT device classification and attacks detection for Indian Scenario.
2. Sponsor of the project: Science and Engineering Research Board
3. Project position(s) and number: Junior Research Fellow (JRF). (01)
4. Qualifications: The minimum eligibility (as per DST SERB guidelines SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January 30, 2019) for project JRF are stated below:

Junior Reseach Fellow (JRF)
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any of the following:
Monthly Emoluments
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (Rs. 38,440/-)
3. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professionalship) and GATE
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central government departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable qualifications: MTech or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks in any branch of Computer Science/Information Technology and Experiences in computer science, IoT, machine learning, and Security.
5. Emoluments: 31000/- + HRA consolidated (38.440/-)
6. Duration: 1 years (Extendable to one more year)
7. Job description: To perform the device classification and attack detection in IoT networks
for Indian scenario using ML approaches. The Candidate need to generate the data from the
loT devices for the experiments and testing. The candidate may be considered for Ph.D.
enrolment, if found suitable as per the institute’s norms.
