Department-Wise Distribution

The vacancies are distributed across specific departments as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Essential qualifications and experience are based on the Schedule “E” of the Statutes of NITs. All applicants must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and have a First Class in preceding degrees.

For Engineering candidates, B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech degrees are required. For Computer Applications, candidates should have B.Sc./BCA and M.Sc./MCA or equivalent.

Minimum experience requirements vary by post. Associate Professors require 6 years after Ph.D., while Assistant Professor Grade I requires 3 years after Ph.D. or 6 years total experience.

Specializations

The institute seeks candidates with expertise in areas such as High-Performance Computing, AI/Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Robotics, Mechatronics, and Thermal Engineering.
