Advertisement for Research Assistant under JKST&IC, DST Project
Applications are invited from motivated, innovative and eligible candidates for the position of Research Assistant (01) to work on the project titled as Traffic Congestion Modelling and Level of Service Analysis for Srinagar City under Heterogeneous Traffic Conditions funded by JKST&IC, DST.
The selected person would work in the project for a period of one year which could be further extendable upon two years depending upon their performance, conduct and project status.

B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) to qualify under Open/OBC category and minimum 55% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.0) for candidates under SC/ST category.
Essential Qualifications
The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
Desirable
Prior knowledge of traffic engineering, statistical analysis, report writing etc.
Project Tenure
Initially for a period of 1 year, which is extendable up to 2 years or the end of the project based on performance.
Emoluments
20,000/- Per month (consolidated)
Registration for PhD
The selected candidate can register for PhD programme if eligible, as per institute rules and
statutes.
