Applications on prescribed proforma (Annexure-I) are hereby invited from the eligible female candidates of the Panch wards shown against the below-mentioned Panchayat Halqas, for the engagement of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for the Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Uri on Honorarium basis.
The application form along with required documents should reach the office of the Child Development Project Officer, Uri (near Toll Post Lagama) within 15 days from the date of publication of this notice against proper receipt.

Criteria for Selection
The selection of Sahayikas (Anganwadi Helpers) shall remain as envisaged in Govt. Order No: 222-JK (SWD) of 2022, dated 30-11-2022:
• Age Limit: Women candidates aged 18–37 years (as on 01-01-2026).
• Domicile: Candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
• Residence: Candidate must be a resident of the Electoral Ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
- Name in the voter list shall be the primary proof.
- In case of dispute, residence proof from concerned SDM will be considered.
• Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation (10th pass).
• Exception: If no matriculate candidate is available, candidates with qualification not less than 8th standard shall be considered.
• Selection Basis: Selection shall be made purely on merit as per departmental instructions dated 14-08-2023 and 14-07-2023.
Documents Required (Self-Attested Copies)
• Panch Ward Certificate and Voter List issued by concerned BDO
• Un-married Certificate issued by Tehsildar (if name appears with parents in electoral roll)
• Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildar
• Date of Birth Certificate
• Academic Qualification Certificates with 10th Marks Card
• Non-Employment Certificate
• Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of ₹5/-
• Affidavit from First-Class Magistrate stating:
- All submitted details are correct and without mismatch/duplicacy
- Minimum qualification is Matriculate (onus of proof lies with deponent)
- The deponent has read and accepts HR Policy No. 222-JK (SWD) of 2022
