Eligibility Criteria for Selection

Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements for both Anganwadi Worker (AWW) and Anganwadi Helper (AWH) roles:

Domicile: Must be a permanent domicile of the Union Territory of J&K.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18-37 years as of 1st January 2026.
Residency: Must be a resident of the specific Electoral Ward where the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) is situated. Proof includes name in the voter list.
Education for AWW: Minimum 10+2 pass and maximum Graduation. Candidates with higher qualifications will not be considered.
Education for AWH: Minimum qualification is Matriculation (10th Pass).
Selection Process: Selection is based purely on merit (marks obtained in qualifying exams). Preference is given to married women of the ward.
